This is day 4 of construction. I made the very end of the tail out of pipe cleaners and discovered that the fuzzy pipe cleaners really don't grab the clay like I thought they would. In fact they tended to repel it. Yay.So I cut off the tail and exposed the original armature. Added some stainless steel and rebuilt the tail the right way.The base oil paints are on. This means the Las Vegas city arts council has my name on a list somewhere.
